I can bowl medium quick stuff if required to give simmy a break from standing up. I'm not the tallest though so if the pitch stays low simmy it may be taking them all by your ankles I'm afraid.

i know how you feel mate so i do sympathise with you. our opener last year was in the late 70s early eightes and sprayed at times which was a bloody nightmare. took more on the toes keeping than batting last year lol

I am 200% available for any midweek games if you want me. Probably not for any weekends though due to league games.

For people looking to stay I have found this b&b http://stone-in-oxney.kent-towns.co.uk/directory/228/tighe-hall-manor/ it's about 1 1/2 miles from the ground/pub! Follow church rd on the google map straight it will lead you to the ground on the left

cheers Matt.

I wasn't planning to select a team just yet, it is March after all. However, in light of a few people requiring to book leave early I can select a team if it helps at this early stage?

ok, I was going to leave it a bit longer but if booking leave/b&b's will start to become an issue then I'm happy to select a team asap. The guys who put there hands up initially are:-

nsaunders
tommo256
Manormanic
ajmw89
Ciaran
Simmy
Matt W
FletcherUK
Roco
Tomtek
Jimba101
Dan W
Soulman
Wilkie
Canners
Charlie15
Redders
Dean

I plan to select 11 from this lot, with the remaining on standby as reserves . The game is 11am Thursday 15th August and the cost will be at least £20, that's the price of lunch and tea. EDIT - checking food costs, seems like I've missed something off or the cost seems a bit high. I need to work out some details regarding additional costs, such as a CBF shirt & Match Balls. However, expect to pay £20+. Once I know the final amount, everyone will be required to pay in advance via paypal. The payment will be non-refundable.  If anybody from the above list CANNOT or has doubts about being able to play, please let me know asap before I pick an 11.

I would advise to book b & bs early aswell , if you have no luck with the place mentioned I will reinvestigate , I would guess you all want the place closest walk from the pub?
