Brand New Salix AJK Limited Edition

Hi guys thought i would show off my new for 2013 Salix AJK Limited Edition. This is the flagship model from Salix this year. 40mm edges, flat face and the most amazing finishing possible on a bat. The pictures from my iphone do not do this bat justice.

The ping and sound off the mallet is amazing and the pick up is a dream. This bat weighs 2lb 9oz and feels like a feather in the hand.  This really is the best bat i have ever owned and really really want the season to hurry up and get here.

i got her direct from Andrew at the Salix Workshop in Maidstone. I have been a regular customer for many years talking to Andrew this bat will be about the £400 mark. I got to pick the cleft with Andrew and Ben and talk through what i wanted and was made to exactly my spec. I believe this represents great value for money as to me Salix is the best out there IMO.

In comparison this is £100 cheaper than a Legend or Kookaburra players or GM Players and you get to visit the workshop, choose a cleft and talk through what you as a customer would like. You also learn a huge amount from a visit as both Andrew and Ben really know there stuff and they really do make sure you get the best bat possible for your money. I really cant speak highly enough of there service

i contacted Salix about 2 weeks ago to arrange to see them to get a new bat. When i arrived and Ben asked me what i was after i said i wanted the best available cleft and this is what was created.
