No worries - It would have been brilliant if those numbers were at least visible so we could depict his profile. It is a lovely profile really.

I think that is wisest move because by doing such you're wholly used to the stick and know its perfect location. If you change your bat every series then it can rather take time to get used to it.

Clarke said that his bats are made in Australia - said it while at a Kingsgrove sport centre a little while back.

Surely all the top end ones are made there though? Or am I missing something? :-[

If Spartan are making bats that are made exactly to his spec and feel, then wouldn't it be kind of odd that he uses from someone else? Or maybe he finds that a different batmaker makes them better or something. Whoever makes his bats is doing a fine job of it! 8)

The same could be said for a lot of players' bats though. But it is always fun to speculate!

I have a Spartan CG Authority and it's a 100 per cent Aussie made and not an Asian rip off, and yes it was purchased from Kingsgrove sports. Only thing i would say is be prepared to pay about 100 quid to import it and that hurt a little bit as mine was stuck in customs till i paid up.

Are you sure it's Australia made? Never heard of them being made over here.

So if we order a Spartan CG or MC then we will get an Australian made stick? More specifically same shape as players?

From speaking to the guys at kingsgrove yes all Spartans are made in oz, and mine ended up being made from the best of the best willow as the first one was a little blemished so i had to wait another 4 weeks but have to say i love the profile and its a belter in the nets and also when i play 20/20,
