Well done for that though mate. Like playing at Knockin, there was no 6s day this year though? That's normally a good laugh. Lack of interest?

Weather mate tried to keep pitch in tact as much as possible

This was quickly snapped when Asad posted a picture of it as a Christmas present for the youngest brother, who is just starting to play cricket. Gave it a little drink as it seemed pretty dry, and will scuff it up and wrap it in time for Christmas. 8) Check out how straight the grains are on the back too, it really surprised me that this was a 250, as it responds really nicely off the mallet too! The finishing isn't great though, but it might just be like that for the lower grade Kooks!

Haha sorry about that Dave! :-[ It does respond nicely off the mallet! A nice crisp clean sound which I am very impressed with. I will be scuffing it in the next 2 days after the oil has seeped in and dried, then I'll test it out with a ball. 8) It does have a LOT of concaving, which I suspects is what gives it the feather-like pick-up and weights for the size!

Was picked for a regular customer when we went to Robertsbridge to hand pick our bats, been waiting for Strauss to sign it so they could send it to us.

I've got a Powerbow Strauss LE from 2012, i considered not using it, but its such a weapon that it became my Saturday match bat.
