I can't tell if it gives any advantage over a normal SH. I have used academy ,SH and SSH sizes but couldn't feel much difference. I am hoping there could be more wood added to an academy sized compared to a normal SH, but unsure of how much gain in terms of weight. Uzi sports used to have a BAS academy bat for 80 pounds approx and they are really nice.

I have tried a few harrows they feel fine but I not convinced I get the best willow.

No real problems with sh but after the laver got fixed a few times and shortened it just felt right

Are they actually smaller - or just lighter? Love the Mamba!
