Are the bats all the same shape just a different grade and different stickers?

This marker pen nonsense needs to stop! We had issues with customers this year about those, so I'm a bit disappointed this feedback hasn't influenced a change here...

The marker pen on the edges?

Personally think it takes that little bit of class away from the bat then the brands are shiny like that.
Are they branded then coloured in so to speak with a marker pen?

Yes, exactly.  Everyone we sold one to questioned their authenticity, as did I when we got them in stock.  Not good.  the new decals are pretty ugly to imho, ergo we will not be stocking TON in 2013...

The SS ones were no beter to be fair.  They're an odd one - produce some very nice bats, some that look nice but play average, and some that are massively overrated...

I was given an SS by AOC and I couldn't believe the colouring in job they'd done on the stamp, it looked awful and if it hadn't been from AOC I'd probably have asked if it was fake.

I'm sure they're good bats but the TON stamp lets them down.

I especially hate it when the marker pen runs, like it does quite often.  Tacky is an understatement.  It's a shame because their bats definitely perform...

3 years ago I was on holiday in India and went to a cricket shop. I asked for the best 3 bats he had for about 150 quid each and he pulled out 3 lovely SS bats., I didnt buy anything as I was convinced that they were fake TON branding and scribbled on by a kid, which they were probably were. I realized a year later that these were top bats and probably handmade from top performing willow but I thought they were fake nevertheless.

The best looking bats that I remember vividly were all BDM but I didnt buy them as I didnt like the stickers... another massive mistake on my part.

Sorry to go off topic, but is that the going rate for an SS in India? I only ask as I have asked a friend to get one for me when he goes back in February.
Ideally want an SS or SF (SF I hear are cheaper)
