Bat Advice
« on: December 20, 2012, 09:00:42 AM »

Hello,
I need a new bat, and was wondering if someone new anyone who was good and cheap? I am looking for a 2 pound 6 oz bat, lowish middle, thick edges, good straight grains and good rebound.
I am looking to spend about 180 pounds (negotiable), It doesn't have to be that exact specifications but close too.
I live in Australia so that's why I am not spending too much because postage will be about 40 pounds.
Thanks

For those specs and price, maybe check the MSR thread?

For that budget, you may have to compromise on aesthetics if you want a UK made bat.

You might want to Pm Johners77 (http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?action=profile;u=2066) and he might be able to make you one for that amount maybe a little more + shipping cost...

You'll get a good bat off anyone on this forum mate, pick which stickers you like the best and proceed.

what bat don't I have lol.

I have a couple of vulcans, laver, h4l, I've had many a bat mate, all been very good!

I think you've just got to pick a profile that you've either got on with before and really like, or think that's going to work for your game. If a bat isn't right for your game, no matter how good the bat is, you won't like it
