For me Salix all the way

Out of sheer ignorance on my part with regards to the two companies, why do you prefer Salix over Chase?

true....

...but I don't think I have ever heard of a bat Salix bat....

...though to be fair, helped a mate choose a mid range Chase a few months back and that was both beautifully finished and an absolute gun...

I have to agree with Asad, both about preferring Salix and about not wanting to reveal my reasons in public.

Money back if any of these bats fail on performance

Haha you sure know how to pick bats from my experience, so I'm pretty darn tempted! You got any shots from the toe upwards to see the extent of concaving Asad? I really want a Pod for myself, after getting my one knicked by the brother, it's a shame my wallet/bank account/20 other bats say otherwise! :( For a G2 bat, the price point is a little high, but I have seen many LE GMs and GNs look nowhere near as good as some of the G2 Salix's, they really are top notch. The branding looks really nice this year, and out of interest, have they lowered the Pod's middle? It does look a little lower - mind you, when I got the Pod Players from Paul last year, the middle was also lower than I thought it was. It is a beautiful shape, and helped my brother hit his first ever legit 6. 8)

Yes I very interested by your comments both asad and Paul.

I understand both the dealings with chase and since the hammer bashing thread find this very interesting Chase may not be a forum sponsor but still find it interesting.

Care to share your facts then I will share mine.

I understand personal preference but it is worded a bit sinister if you ask me which I can see manoramic picked up on.

Ps salix bats do look lovely indeed.

There was nothing sinister in my reply as Dan of Chase is a very good friend of mine. I may be stocking his bats soon..... The reasons i mentioned in my reply was related to that.
If I have to chose a bat between Salix or Chase I will chose Salix as in my view Salix has edge on Chase according to small knowledge i have about cricket bats.

Seems like the retailers can't really have an opinion without sharing it these days! It's Christmas time guys, let's be cheery! 8)

I prefer the Salix bats too, but I'm sure that comes as no surprise to anyone on here given that my salix has helped my batting average treble in a year...

Dave, I think you know my history with chase as I was emailing you about them shortly after the lord's show. Lovely, lovely bats but they have issues about supplying us. Salix on the other hand welcomed us to their factory with open arms!

Sorry about being reluctant to reveal this before. I just don't think anyone needs to know this information, and hope people can understand that, after the hammer thread, I want to keep my cards closer to my chest in terms of CBF debates...

Asad i am sure they will all sell bud good luck
