Tom decided to add to his legendary collection of gloves and bought my ayrtek elites off me giving me some of his new softpocket stuff in exchange. It arrived today so thought I'd post some pics and review them, apologies for the rubbish quality of the pics but they're just done on an older iphone.
As a general comment all of these are really well made, I tugged a bit at the stitching to check and there's nothing loose or anything that looks like it'll rip. Being fleece they're obviously light and I'd guess you can probably wash them if you need to after sticking smelly kit in them. The fleece is also pretty thick too, quite a bit thicker than I expected so it should protect kit well in your bag. Its probably as protective as a traditional cover though I didn't get a bat cover so I can't compare to my existing GM ones.
First off the helmet cover:

You can't really see much from that but it fits my aytrek premier very well, its snug but not too tight so you can take it in and out easily. Its certainly better than the bag which came with the helmet (no offence Tom) and will protect it a lot more which given the cost of the lid makes it well worth it.
Next the pads bag:

Again, fits pretty well, only thing would be that thought it fits my regular mens pads fine it could do with being a little longer for anyone buying OSM pads as they might stick out of the end a bit. If you do buy one of these and use OSM I'd let Tom know so he can make it a little bigger. The second pic shows the new drawstring toggle that Tom has started to use and it works well, adds a little quality touch too which is nice. This toggle is also on all the other bags but I've not taken specific pics of it.
I've also got a fleece glove bag which fits my regular mens gloves really well and is similarly protective that I forgot to take a pic of, but my favourite of the stuff Tom sent me is this one:

Its thinner than the fleece and won't be as protective but for softs that should be fine. For me this looks better than the fleece and having holes in will ventilate your kit better. To me this looks like it should be far more expensive than what Tom is selling them for.
Overall I'm really impressed, I thought they'd be good as Tom is a good bloke and wouldn't sell any old rubbish - but to be honest they're better than I expected. Very well made and protective and I'd definitely recommend them.
