A professionals players bat.
« on: December 23, 2012, 08:41:15 PM »

Following on from the topic below as i had time on my hand i decieded to skin the Mids given to me by a mate of mine at the start of last season.

It had been extensively used.

It sure is a player it's performance is qualy to the pick up without the stickers it does look i guess a bit ugly but for the wood and pick up i can tell the difference between a normal bat and this.

Spec

2lb 6.3oz with 1 half moon grip on
41/42MM Edges
64mm size spine
Concaving yes there some but not overly.

Here are the pictures

As it arrived

It has the thinnest handle you can image if you see in the pictures

Might not look much most of the stains where covered by stickers but the main point of this bat is the wood for weight and the pick up and balance.

Performance is good as well the pother bat in the picture is my special laver which is not a small bat either

I guess the question is always going to be who used it previously and I assume you will be using it now?

Impressive size for it's weight!

Yes i will be trying to use it thought about trying to get some authentic stickers might be hard though.

Yes a left hander playing for pakistan used it called Taufiq Umar and i shall use it.

Used it a couple of times went very well

thats him and as you see mm power is there grade 2 bat as well.

more than happy with mine.

I do not know this player but know a player who plays with him and knows him well.

This bat will complement what i have for next season with my b3 and another new bat coming hopefully sometime next month

I have seen this players bat, held and played with them around. HIs handles are AWFULLY thin, I would have to apply 4 chevron grips at least!

They are incredibly light but have lots of woods and I vividly remember earlier this year when I met Taufeeq Umar at NCA he had this exact profile.

Lovely lovely bat Dave, how does it ping compared to B3/Laver?

I will review my Younis Khan bat for you.
