Took us about 5 hours we reckon overall...

Weighs just under 3lb especially designed for our evening league matches...

Here are some pics:  Please remember this is our first Bat we've made...

(Kashmir)

Comments on how to improve and whats good and bad would be lovely?

For a 1st go it is good mine wasn't much better.  I ended up with a jumbo shape...

Looks like your shoulder edge is thicker then the toe and edge slight skewy good way of getting this sorted out is markout the bat with pencil on the cleft.
Get the blade length measure and draw a line across the bottom for the toe and shoulder and the middle needs a bit more defining.  Also looks like the shoulder splice bit it is a bit thick and doesn't closely hug / blend into the handle i think
Here are some sizes for you

All in CM   Overall   Blade    Width   Handle LengthHARROW    82.50   54.60   10.50   27.90SSH   83.80   55.90   10.80   27.90SH   85.10   55.90   10.80   29.20

When that is done workout how thick you want the toe and the shoulder and edges at the middle make a mark and join the dots to mark out the profile

Take a look at the right hand bat here you'll just about see the marks

That should helpout alot if you need more info just post here.... but good job so far.  [you could even afford to lose some weight from it so you could mark out on that bat]

Can you measure the height of thr spine for me please Gareth, as from hat image there doesn't seen to be an awful lot for the weight, even with it  being Kasmir willow.

Dan - its probably deceiving since the shoulders are about as thick as the middle and toe

the weight must be spread across the whole face, whereas most bats have thin shoulders and an arc to them, this is more of a traditional shape with a much thicker shoulder.

Looks good for a first go! I think you could reduce the size of the shoulders and toe slightly, this would make the bat a bit lighter but you would be keeping the middle the same size.

jandg i would be embarrassed to post a pic of a bat like that. It looks like the dog has been at it!

Only kidding, am being a tad too harsh. Looks OK for a first effort, you have a nice basic shape there.
