Look good but a bit pricey and I prefer a full set not just an outer

Quality is a premium, and there handmade to a top notch standard from what I've seen. They should also last you a career if looked after, I think there a good investment if you've got the cash

I don't think many will just order the outer - looks light most will be ordered as a set from what I can tell so far.  Thanks to David (Acko109) for getting the ball rolling on this front!

I suppose

You suppose?
1. your getting a custom fitted product that should be at a premium.
2. you won't have to get a new one every 2/3 years
3. in the long run IMO, I think you'd save money, if you buy the thigh pad set, say it's £100 for the set, and you play cricket for around 20 years at league level, you have to buy a new set every 2/3 years due to deterioration. a normal set is around £20/£25?

I think if you have the money available it's a good choice to get something that's made to such a high quality (having had a look at rocos) and not only that your supporting a UK made product

Thanks, Tom, I look forward to your order then!  ;) Failing that, I'll hire you as a Stretton-Fox Sales Manager!  :)

I'd love a set Paul, really would. Just can't justify the cash outlay at the moment unfortunately. Have taken a look at roco's though like I say and the quality is superb. It's good to see products being made in the UK, and premium products like this deserve the price tag

Tom adores StrettonFox thigh pads so much that he made me exceptional bespoke SoftPockets for my pair of StrettonFox.

I hear my thighpads paying homage to Sir Tom :D #WhattaLad

Measurements can be depicted whereas commitment, dedication and adoration can't. .

Oh dear I'm such a wannabee Mark Twain. Ha!

I've asked what Bespoke he can offer.. What did any of you go for?? I'm thinking a 'normal' set just with initials or something on them. Can't think what else I'd potentially want tbh.. Ideas?

Not really the place but... Any plans to update your size guide on your website to include Stretton-Fox and Aero sizes? Apologies if I've missed them listed elsewhere.

Website now updated with new photos, which include all the different sizes and respective dimensions.  Hopefully this will make it a lot clearer for everyone? http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/stretton-fox-m44

Paul, I'll see you next friday about a set!  Up the oval for some coaching around lunchtime, so I'll pop my head in...
