Thanks for the warm welcome !!
Procricket question time is always good !
The USP of these guards in a few points:
- Very thin so you hardly know they're on
- Very light
- Protection thats originally designed to stop things like bricks and all sorts of offensive weapons (was originally bulletproof but I took away the kevlar outer just in case someone somewhere wanted to really test them !)
- The entire front is velcro so you can place the straps anywhere making it very comfortable. Also you can simply not use the straps and put them inside a baselayer (skins ect..)
- The entire back is spacer fabric and not towelling so you dont get that slimy feel
- Machine washable (I would recommend throwing in a towel kind of like when washing shoes) so the infamous smell doesn't stay !
- They can bend and shape to fit your leg exactly, so no more corners poking out in the way. Also for smaller players it makes it so easy to run.

Remfry is a legend in cricket especially with the Pros, he seriously blazed some trails since way back and I had the pleasure of meeting one of his close friends who works as a batting coach last summer.

The product has a very different approach and look so its hard to compare.
As a brand I don't want to personally say if my product is better because I obviously will always favour what I do :) I will have to leave that to the testings!, but feedback so far from all the pro-cricketers using these guards has been awesome, with most of them simply saying that when they get hit theres no more bruising or pain so gotta be a good thing !

Hope this is helpful !!

Get them used mate...no point in having top end protection if your going to leave it in your bedroom and get bruises using a lesser product!

Spent whole day reflecting myself on your words. Many thanks for these wise words :)

Haha not sure if they were wise but I'm a fond believer in living in the now so you may as well enjoy them whilst you can rather than merely looking at them :)

Those are exact words I told myself when I was reflecting. Who knows I might even live till next season, so why not use them in indoors and enjoy them!

Nevertheless, as I said many thanks for your words :D I appreciate it :)

Tom thanks very much i'll reply in a sec !
Cover_Drive unfortunately they dont have kevlar any more ! I have one set which does under lock and key ! but decided not to include just incase someone somewhere has a "go" !

Whats important in stopping a cricket ball is the load spread and transfer of energy, the impact point of a cricket ball is fatter than a bullet tip so all focus is on not letting any energy get through, or at least as little as possible !

Cheers !
George

Great to see so much buzz for this product - very interesting. If you haven't seen it covered in the mag - here is our piece, now complete with video footage of George going mad with a mallet on his own body!
