It has wonky edges but to have even 43mm edges on a bat that weight is pretty special, then again the spine isn't too high. Paul, how did it feel when you picked it up while hand picking. Surely it feels as good as any other bat if you chose it!

Simple answer is send it back! It can never feel quite right in the hands if one side weights slightly more than the other! Its a defect, and as such would either need to be rectified or sold as "seconds"

It actually feels really nice though! If it doesn't sell I would rather keep it for myself.  After all, I'm a right hander who often manages to find the outside edge!!  :D

I have a similar bat Paul. I'll measure it and let you know if there is any difference in edges size

Id still let GN know about it and ask what they recommend! If they offer you a partial refund then you will have yourself a cheap special bat!

It almost looks as if on the right handers outside edge has a longer middle

I know that edge size most certainly is not everything when picking a bat. Best bat to date (in terms of runs anyway!) was a size 6 kookaburra kahuna with like 15mm edges tops. But anyway when i see a bat of that size i can't help but think wow, that must be one hell of a bat!

No, I hand picked it for other reasons.  I knew it had big edges, but didn't measure them at the time.  I f I felt it picked up strange, I'd probably take you advice, but it feels just fine to me so it's staying!

Yash, if you're reading this, this is the bat I was going to email you photos of...

Looks exactly like the Evo I sold but I'm pretty sure the edges were the same size...

Players grade.  Which (I think) is regular grade 1, with the LE & Players being grade 1+.  GN don't publish grades though, so I cannot be 100% certain.

I meant LE and Players LE ie. the Cook Oblivion.  Sorry if that confused anyone there!
