If the bails are off pull a stump out the ground while you're holding the ball and the batsman is out ^_^
i found that out a bit to late :')

I think this was in U13, we needed 1 of the last over with 9 wickets down, but thankfully had our number 5 in still. Now this number 5 was the funniest most idiotic guy i knew, he would warm up while play a 5 year old tretris game...i think he had mild Aspergers. So before the over he needed to change his back as it was cracked and comes back on with a new bat......First ball of the over a lovely pie down leg side which he gave a hugeeeee swing, we all think yes we've won it! Yet when he connects it makes the worst sound ever....hes hit it straight to midwicket. When trudging of the pitch, we all realise hed gone on the pitch with a bloody beach bat...a beach bat! thinking about it now thought however has me in stitched!

Haha Jimster!

Reminds me of my last match in the u13s, we needed 7 runs off the last 6 balls to win and their skipper, the fastest bowler, came on. Every ball of that over was missed by our batsmen, and every ball was also missed by the keeper!

We managed 6 byes from 6 balls to tie the game :D

Seen a couple of skiers smash someone in the nuts, thats always quite funny,
but my favorite was playing last year in a pre season friendly, an opposition batsman took a slice of pizza out of his pocket to eat between overs  :)

Oppo needed 3 off the last ball with a new batsman at the crease,he hit it straight to the fielder at cover and ran. Our over enthusiastic fielder threw the ball at the stumps and missed prompting the batsman to take 2. The lad backing up threw it at the stumps again with no one backing up and they won. All the first fielder had to do was underarm the ball to me at the bowlers end and we would've had an easy win...

A few years ago, our ageing and rotund 4th team captain put himself at silly point without protection. He got struck clean on the forehead and the ball was caught at gully. The captain was fine.

I was not there, the first I knew of it was when the captain came back to the club with a perfect seam mark bruise right in the middle of his forehead.

Beautiful bruise it was.

playing school cricket, batsman hit a skier and as i circled around underneath it at midwicket, the ball was coming straight out of the sun, I completely lost the flight of it and next i new it has smashed me in the forehead! Looked like i had a golf ball on my head for about a week!

Batsman hits it hard and long going to the fielder on the boundary. The fielder misjudges it. Straight through his hands, hits him on the head and that my friend is how you hit a 6.

The funniest incident I can recall from last year was one of our players took a caught & bowled that was smashed back straight at him - hit him in the nuts and bounced out into one of his failing hands...

I couldn’t even congratulate him or help him up as I was having trouble breathing.

Incidentally the same guy was responsible for the funniest off field incident a few years ago.

We had just arrived on tour in Epsom, and having a few beers in the beer garden when someone noticed a small stream at the back. Challenges were issued over who could jump it and bets placed - which a few off us took up and made it over.

This guy decided not to be outdone by the younger players, and marked a run up out - proclaiming that he 'was in room number 1 for a reason' and waved his room key around.

Set off boldly on this run-up to clear the 'babbling brook', stuttered and shuffled the last couple of steps. I think he had been watching profesional long jumpers as he 'cycled' in mid-air to gain extra distance, but to no avail and he landed half-way across with an almighty splosh...

Turned out he had brand new jeans on which were now ruined, and pulled his achilles and as a result didn’t play in any of the tour games.

Being hit in the V.

one of our girls always shouted HIT IN THE V really loudly if it was anywhere near the area, even if someone got hit in the stomach. i'm sure there even was some appealing done with that sentence.

After a night of partying she turned up for one of our less important games rather tired haha lets say it like that.
She and her best friend where batting and she already score 50 out of 20 balls i'd say and he batting partner got hit in the stomach so she went OEEHW was that the V?
when she was on her 82 and our score was around the 250's  she got hit in the V. not only did our entire team shout GOT YOU IN THE V, so did the official umpire and the other team..

watch out what you shout about, it might just hit you in the V.
