What is your primary role? Bowler, batter or keeper?

Asics Gel Advance 3 are what I have. There are perfect for batting and keeping and some occasional medium pace bowling. Super comfy as well. To be fair not at bad prices in some of the end of season sales.

Strike Rates are the best all round shoe in my opinion. I'm on my second paid, first pair lasted me 3 seasons!

I second that - I have gone through 2 pairs over the last three seasons.
Best shoes for an all-rounder. :)

I have a question for you Asics fans - what's the lightest model in the range? That's my pet peeve with cricket trainers, just how heavy they are once you put spuds in or, for me, put blanks in.

Gel Advance 3 LE.

For me, they are not good spikes at ALL! Find them to be extremely stiff and highly uncomfortable, prefer Nikes to be honest.

Gel advances are the lightest, very trainer-like.

I have always been a fan of the Gel-gully shoes.

Apparently these will be a birthday present for me, next week ;)

Strike Rate spikes.

It's like wearing a pair of running shoes!
So comfy.

The only thing to get used to is the different positioning of the spikes on the sole. It's not a problem but when marking my guard I've not yet fully found where the spike is.

Agree. I have two pairs, one for use on grass, the other with the blanks in for artificial.
