As you probably already guessed I'm a big millichamp fan but there is one thing I can't understand about the current range.
Last Year M&H discontinued the "S6" as I believe it no longer conforms to the laws of cricket due to the blade comprising of 2 different types of wood. They brought out a replacement called the "Original Low" which on there website is described as follows.
"New for 2012. In the familiar low shape made popular by the discontinued S6 bat - now in the Original guise. Designed to allow the compact modern batter to maximize efficiency on a slow, low English wicket."
The difference between the "Original Low" and the "S6" is that there are no holes drilled in the back making it to me, identical to the "Solution".
As with most M&H bats yo have the option to buy in standard or MK2 which I believe is just the grade of the willow used. But as you can see, there is quite a large gap in the price difference between the 2 bats they currently sell.
Does anyone know why this is?
