My 1st Red Ink Custom
« on: January 11, 2013, 01:14:22 PM »

Hello folks,

My first review on cb forum, pardon me for grammer or spellings mistakes if occured as Eng is not my first language  :-[

First of all thanks to cb forum for letting me in this part of bat community because before that i used to purchase bat blindly through internet sites :( and secondly thanks to Uzair who is the person behind my approval on cb forum :) Also he helped me lot regarding this bat spec to how to write and where to put etc.

Ok one month ago i created a thread regarding full width harrow bat with spec
weight  2.5/2.6
edges 35 mm or above along with spine height over 60 mm Flat Face.

Talked with couple of batmakers and finally opted for RedInk Cricket ( John ). Shared some mails with him and he uderstood what i am after .. i must say he is very nice to communicate ( Hope i didnt irritate him with my mails lol ).

Bat arrived with nice protection on it, liked it, edges almost 35 mm with a ultra light pick-up , loved it. I didnt get the oppurtunity to use in nets yet but checked the ping with the ball and feels nice although i think after knocking in the bat it will become great. Over all very satisfied with it, especially his prices are nice, even his top rage bats are below 200 HINT HINT HINT.

I am really glad as this is my 1st custom made bat :)
Finally pictures
Cheers

That is a lovely shape, looks great. I think the man from red ink has been very busy of late. Great to see.

This bat looks amazing for the weight which it is.

As a fan of light bats I have to rate the look of this right up towards the top....... considering.........
