If you haven't used a H4L bat you are missing out Chad...you gotta try one...

Definitely agree with that

You sound like my spin bowling partner at my old club. All GN stuff, including 2 customs his girlfriend (now wife) bought him for his 22nd (she's an umpire, well into her cricket, so she's pretty sharp with what stuff he likes/uses!) and has had GN for best part of 10 years, until I saw him at a midweek game with a GM bag... He looked at me and said (I quote) "don't you dare say anything, it's only temporary!" Clearly someone loves GN a little too much  ;)

I use the shops own brand of Lion equipment too, mainly sundays, and have been very partial to B&S gear over the years. But yeah I feel a little dirty using a cheap blank bat at nets (to protect my treasured GN sticks) when everything else I've got on is grays.

Yeah I agree Chad you should get a H4L bat, is only fair given all your other bats. Plus they are great bats.

I think using just one brand of kit is a terrible idea... ;)
I just need one of those blue bats that Joe root and Alex hales use...

The gloves on the bag below the pads are the ones for sale in that section

to be fair im that OCDish (is that a word?) about my gear that everyhing made by 1 company is deffo the dream! haha although im also distracted quite easily aswell so always end up on here going 'oooo a new shiny thing i want it' and end up adding another maker to my growing pile of kit!

When I was growing up I had all GN gear - no idea why it ended up that way as I certianly didn't guide the shopping (although GN was my fav brand growing up).

Now I still have a GN soft spot, but use mostly smaller brands (less seen on the pro scene anyway!)

I've always had a mish mash of kit. I wouldn't go for all the same brand now as I'd get ripped, playing in division 12!!

Am i missing something here?

Why is it a cause for any lyrics by having the same make of kit for everything?

It doesn't mean you have more kit than you need, you only have the same equipment, pads, gloves, bat, bag, etc so whats difference just because it has the same logo on?

I must admit, it's all wasted on me - the only thing I notice is what bat a guy is using.

It's the oooh he's sponsored or he prentends to be sponsored if you have all the same kit.  It's an automatic sledging opportunity.

Then again, this is just bat, gloves, pads. Doesn't matter about the bits you can't see.
