Most of us can't get on the Wright & Sons list for willow so get our clefts from various other places....anyone know the process if you managed to source a few willow trees....the sort of costs involved...

Kippax has them at 100GBP per tree where they plant the tree, take care of it etc and you get bats out of when its felled... if you are looking to buy a whole mature tree then no idea...might still be worth checking with them or RPC & H4L as i think their willow is from their own trees to...not a 100% on RPC but the stickers on the back make me think that they do get their willow from someone else...

If I was to go with Kippax, I'm assuming is have to wait the 15 years or so for it to mature.....I was thinking more for now and finding a small group of Salix willow trees locally...

I would be surprised if you can find a plantation that is good enough that has not already been agreed to be sold to Wrights or someone else.
But you would need to factor in labour to fell them and split and bark then saw them which won't be cheap
