Rather than have lots of different threads, would be good to create one with all this information in.

Just seen Geriant Jones post this on twitter;
'Sad day, it seems my long association with Puma has come to an end. Time to look for a new sponsor for 2013.'

I wonder who will snap him up, good little signing I believe that would be.

With Kieswetter and Prior also looking for sponsors though you can see Jones being well down the list

Maybe as do you go for one big marque signing or a few medium ones

forum sponsors could probably tell us more (if they wished of course) but I'd suspect sales were down for most brands last year (which probably means this year won't be great either as people who got stuff last year won't have 'worn it out').. Time to cut back on expensive pro's

Pollard too is looking for a sponsor, but both him and Prior are asking a small fortune. Kieswetter will be snapped up very soon.

Really can't see Jones being the top of many companies wish list.

Out of curiosity what do you reckon he would be asking for or would expect to receive in terms of ��'s. He is at the end of the day just a county keeper although he has played for England, i don't imagine many keepers buy equipment just because he has it.

Was my favourite player when he was in England set up though.

Prior is worth the money as he's a top quality test batsmen. Pollard is really only worth it to brands who want to crack the IPL IMO. His appeal outside of the IPL is nowhere near the likes of Prior, Warner etc.

What is in it for them?? Unless you mean companies associated to cricket (touring companies etc) ?
