Bats Breaking
« on: June 17, 2009, 08:18:39 PM »

I've played with 3 bats for a total of less than 2 seasons and split the toe perpendicular to the blade on all of them. Two were Premier bats. I have been told by SportsHQ that although they now own Woodworm Cricket Company I will not be entitled to any refund or repair or any other sort of compensation.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with Woodworm bats, more specifically the top of the range ones? I should add that the reason I stuck with them after the first two was that the middles were so good.

Well i think not dead set sure that they were made by Hunts county that have a problem with bats breaking as well. I walked into kingsgrove and had a look at some of their woodworms and its pretty obvious anyway the toes were thin and looked weak always a good warning sign the toes of a cricket bat, next time i recommend buying it from a store that hasa good refund policy and making sure you keep the recipt.
