Nice vid Jason. Quite informative, in regards to B3 and their offerings.

Just a thought, perhaps you could do a follow up that is more in line with your other reviews, give people a few close ups of the bat, a little more insight into its shape, feel etc.

Anyways thanks for the vid. It looks like you've got yourself a nice bat!

An interesting watch Jason, I noticed at around the two minute mark, you toed one and it looked like you had the same issue I did with mine, as your bottom hand was off the handle like it had received an electric shock... Care to comment?

I reckon these B3s are actually the worst bats to toe one with. i've never felt something so uncomfortable! I want to try one of those... Pinging of the toe...

someone asked me an interesting question on facebook i thought i would post it here as im sure people are wondering...

Q: is this bat hard pressed

A: I havent touched this bat with oil or a mallet...and in two net sessions against the bowling machine and 1 with cricket balls it goes very well...not even a crack in sight...edges are still perfect even though i edged quite a few that had a touch of away swing that were there to drive..

as we all know Streaky is from GM so are the bats pressed like they were at GM...its hard to say...ive had gems from GM and Dudds..Here is a review of some other bats but also including a rather crap GM 1885 that was sent back to me twice by two different customers..

cricket store online HD 720p cricket bat face off with GM Hammer B3 and slazenger cricket

its pinged up horribly and figured i couldn't ship it out to another customer...so thought i could get some fun out of it and use it in the nets.....it turned out to be one of my favorite bats in the net that day...it played so so well.....Moral of the story...sometimes customers are not always right and the right set of circumstances need to occur for a proper ping text...

A: they type of ball is very important.
B: how you hold the bat is also important..
C: make sure you are hitting the ball in the sweetspot to properly check the ping..

My GM Icon+ comes last in the hammer and ball ping test. Go use it in a game or net with it and it's a great bat. I can only think it's the way they are pressed.

Yes Morrants...the lightest and most comfortable that look somewhat decent...the aero pads are horrible looking..

pinging a bat and actually using it in the nets are two very different things...i can only hope that using all these bats in the nets will help me become a better judge of a bat overall and can better assist my customers in picking bats..

Just been battering my B3 and I think I was a little disingenuous towards it. It feels lovely bouncing the ball on it. Need to get it in a net again on Friday.

Found this, which I think some will have seen before:

What's interesting is that even though the measure the density of the clefts, they don't always get a bat of the weight they are expecting out the other end. I think that demonstrates just how non-uniform the underlying natural material actually is...
