I don't care how old I am when i get my hypothetical chance, Country is always first :)..i am a little surprised some have chosen county over country but then everyone is different...

I'd have to say country first, I have this thing that if you can play for your country you should, unless you have to stop to prolong your career due to injury.  How many of us on here have dreamed of representing our respective countries in whatever sport? It's the absolute pinnacle and a privilege that only a very few of us will ever achieve.

England (if that wasn't successful I could qualify for Ireland), Surrey then some form of T20 league, either BBL or Carribean T20.  Could quite happily laze about in Aus/WI for 6 weeks!  Otherwise, hit the slopes and Snowboard for britain in slopestyle!

If I was playing as a pro and couldn't/wasn't good enough to play for the Proteas, I'd try my luck with the Kiwis.

No disrespect to them but plenty of decent South Africans are heading that way recently.

Would prefer a long county career to a short international career if that was the case, ipl big bash does nothing for me but obviously wouldn't turn it down! Haha to be fair I only get selected for my team because I'm the captain!

Think it's 4 years qualification period.

Neil Wagner went down that route.
