Ss embossed cricket pads help

Been after a real pair not the version with black piping around the bottom vks sports sell.

I have been trailing them for a year now I still trying to find a pair.

I first went straight via ss then said contact incredible I did they said no.

Contacted online stockiest they did not have.

Anybody got any other suggestions there the ultimate pad for me to top off my kit.

Anybody got any ideas?

What is the official name of the pads Dave?

And by the way there was a forma helmet on eBay around 6 months ago!

I got the forms helmet used it once then gave it to the Indian pro we had

It funny people call the different things

Test opener

Incredible tried to tell me they where gladiator pads .

Not sure just know I want a set badly

Nick_dkp had a set for sale on eBay before. Maybe contact him to see if he can source them.

Probably still worth asking him mate, he does get some really nice SS gear so he's obviously got some good contacts....can't hurt!

Lad on cricket insight had the ones with white piping. Can't view the post/topic now as they have been removed.

Yes that's the badgers mate

They have some unbranded ones on online stockiest but the top hat for some reason doesn't sit right

Do SS name the pads differently in the different countries? I have I pair of Gladiator pads bought in Sri Lanka which are different design from others I've seen.

Good luck with the search.

I was after the moulded SS pads (GM RSB style), and sent the info to my father-in-law in Colombo, but ended up with ones that are the design of the Ltd Ed ones. I'm not keen on the Ton logos in the UK range. Guess I'll swap mine when something interesting comes up.
