What Bag does everyone use?
« on: January 23, 2013, 07:12:26 PM »

needing a new bag, been using a old football one and its not even big enough for my bat.

so im looking to get a new one but thought I'd ask what everyone else used, and what is recommended and what is poor.

So far im looking at the Kook Pro Players:
http://uzisports.com/cricket-bags-brands/cricket-bags-kookaburra?product_id=776

And the H4L bag:
http://www.h4l.co.uk/index.php/cricket-bags/hell4leather-large-wheelie-bag.html

will be using both brands gear this season so thought I'd start with them, anyone got either? or recommend better?

I had the top Kookaburra one from 2012 (which is basically the same as the top one this year) and it's really good. The bag I'm considering this year though is the top Aero wheelie one.

I used a Shamrock duffle, until both of the straps snapped at the same time. Currently using a Woodworm one until I get the Duffle sewn up. I think the Woodworm one is the top of the range one from a season ago!

I bought the blue Aero wheelie a few years ago. Its a bit battered & bruised, but handled all my batting & keeping stuff easily.

Handy for small changing rooms as well....at least I think so, but team mates seldom agree! :)

GN Pro Performance duffle and a GM 606. Two bags just big enough to get what you need.

I've used a few bags over the years, Hunts County, Slazenger, GN, Kookaburra - none as well made as this one. Typical Salix quality.

GM original LE easi load wheelie and GM duffle - both ok but not as good as the salix pod pro by the sounds of it.

I've got the Ayrtek wheelie. Good bag, fits all my gear including keeping kit. Only slight negative is it could stand up a bit better

Year on year I'm thinking I'm due a new bag.  Then I always keep using my single compartment Kookaburra Bubble that's over ten years old! Can't bring myself to part with it...
