England Tour to NZ

Looks like the CBF selection panel agreed with England in some areas.

Bedwetter dropped all together and Fat Sam and Morgan gone from the Test side.

Woakes in for injured Bresnan for the test squad and...

..what's this.. Rikki Clarke gets a call up to the Lions!

Not sure on the Rikke Clarke decision, much younger talent out there to be giving a place to I think

Good to see Craig Overton in there, was bowling with some serious pace in the U19 WC

Glad to see Kieswetter and Patel dropped, they are just not up to the standard.

Local boy Root seems to have cemented his place in all forms, my guess is he will be there for the next 10+ years now!

Still no sure on Chris Woakes, think hes another bit-part player that isn't good enough at either dicipline to make it, but hope he proves me wrong.

Would have preferred to see Root picked ahead of Compton to open the batting however but Compton deserves his chance after a solid performance in India.

Woakes could be a genuine all-rounder, his batting has seriously come on and he's no mug with the ball.

I am surprised to see Dernbach retained in the T20 squad, He should be sent to the lions to practice not going at 6 + an over.
