That little backfoot bunt on vid #3 is interesting. I think i would look to play to mid on, or flick it round the corner personally, depending on length.

The shot in the vid is very loose and risky unless you are KP!

He's done a lot of work in baseball too which will prob lead to some advancements in the fielders throwing over the years to the flat throws we now see

yeah ian pont has writen a  lot of articles for pitchvision etc.and seems to have a pretty good idea about bowling fast, the last 6 months of my training has been based around his articles and I hope to have a session with him when hes back from bangladesh :3

any pace bowlers out there type in ian pont pitchvision for a plethora of very good pace bowling info :)

I know ian and he is a very good bowling coach use to be bowling coach at essex also bangldesh and is coaching the bpl.also that young lady was halstead best bowler last year and plays england ladys u19s he coached many of fast bowlers in world

That said, some of those actions where pretty poor to start with.

why not use me as a test ? im having a session with him straight after vulcan crickets nets :) lets have a meet lets say a few months later and see if im any quicker

These bowling actions look like the drop step, front foot block.  If you fancy a knee replacement in a few years time then give it a go.

Something about altering bowling actions which don't pose an injury risk make me a tad uncomfortable, sometimes you can make it technically perfect but the bowler loses that "spark" or "flare" then again im dnot a coach so i'm probably talking outta my butt. At old trafford the coaches lengthened my run up slightly and helped me to develop a more reliable in swinger to go with my natural out swing, didn't do much to my action at all...
