Question about H4L bats.
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:07:18 AM »

Hi,

I'd like to know a bit more about H4L bats before I buy one.

I'd like a Tempo, but I'd like to know two things. On the Harrow size Tempo, how big are the edges (at their thickest), and how high is the spine (at its highest)? How much does a Harrow size Tempo weigh? Also, how high is the sweet spot (from the toe)?

Also, what are these measurements for the Hattori and Hellfire models?

Also, does anyone know if Matt is willing to do stuff like make the bat without any heartwood, or have a certain amount of grains with no blemishes or knots?

If anyone has these bats, please do me a huge favour and pick up the measuring tape.

Odd questions but I'd say all are variable

The best person to answer your thread would be Matt, if you PM him I am sure he will be more than helpful.

below 666 (hellfire) 2.9 and Tempo 2.10

I'd ask Matt.

Fair enough to ask but that's research you need to do by calling/emailing the man himself.

Never really understood why edge and spine size is so important to people

Best thing to do mate is speak to mat - he's a top bloke and very knowledgeable. I'm sure a phone call or visit isn't to much for him

I've PM'd Matt twice, with no response for a little while.

That's why I asked the forum. I think I might go with a Hellfire or a Hattori, though, they look good.

Go onto his website and use the contact me part.

He will get back to you, but I don't think he has a PA so has to juggle many roles.
