Best dressing room tunes.
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:44:33 AM »

Season is coming closer so need to start thinking about the music for on tours and in the dressing rooms.

What songs/tunes get you pumped up before a game,
Get you relaxed after,
Get you through a hard fitness session?

In the gym, you need some serious metal - I often run to Rammstein if I'm not using a playlist.  Before the game, has to be the Rocky score - cheesy but perfect!

Before going out to bat, I stick fight club by Marilyn Manson on/ Fires me right up! Rammstein in the gym is a huge shout as well. Also a bit of Meta;;ica, Swedish House Mafia, Pendulum..... bit of an eclectic mix

Bodies is a great one for getting fast bowlers ready!

Otherwise, I always find the Al Pacino speech from Any Given Sunday is great to play when you've got a low total to defend/ must win game!

we had LMFAO 2 years ago and call me maybe last year on a mix disc. also had £1 fish remix half way through just for the comedy factor. we dont tend to go for anything too battle/fight orientated. No Rocky theme etc

Anything fast paced is good.  Usually some form of rock or heavy metal for me, just to get the adrenaline going

Ditto. tunes required for after the game though :)
I have zero control over those, however, and we are all grateful for small mercies
