A little help
« on: January 29, 2013, 09:55:09 AM »

Hi Everyone,

I need a little help choosing my second bat for this season.

Ive narrowed it down to Black Cat & Affinity Spectre.

Really cant decide which one to go for.

Havent seen a bad review on black cat.
Only thing i know abt Affinity is the video that Paul from IJC put up.

Most of us have very little experience with Affinity bats. There aren't many around. Having said that, the guy making them is good, and I have used one of his bats before, so would suggest arranging to either get to IJC to have a look or contacting directly.

Having that choice as a second bat is certainly a priviliged position. What's your first?

If I were you I would just stick to that wonderful pro H4L bat you have. Use that into the ground!! If you need a net bat, then as you appear to have a bit of spare cash (second bat for £250??!!) then ask Matt to make you a replica out of a lower grade of wood.

If you want to get the best out of your bats they need to be used and enjoyed, not just looked at!!

You also have that Hammer 2020 bat too... hummm lovely bats you already have

Hi Tim,

I live in Denmark so i cant go to IJC however ive been talking to Paul abt the affinity.

My first bat is Hattori Pro which i received abt 2weeks ago from Mat.
I need another since my brother has taken my Hammer ST Plat which i used last season.

Tim - alternatively, perhaps we should do a trip to see Paul and see what we think... ;)

Hmm i might also be interested in a BB lam seems like they are quite good as well however that will be a NET bat.

I know buzz but i think 2 bats is not a overkill also i share most of my bats with my brother.

Good selection. Once you receive it, post pics with detailed review.
