You've got a fair amount of kit there mate, it all looks good quality! How come the 5 sets of gloves, though?

Thanks Johan. I don't know but I would say I am kinda fond of softs. Not a while ago I have 4 pair of pads along 9 pair of gloves. Have gotten rid of some as well. The CA gloves are finished and are very rough when wearing so they are sort of memorable gloves. Rest are pretty much new

C-D - what's your view on the wraparound grips against normal ones?

I think you have them on the CA & the SS?

I also have Lekka Xtrax applied Bubber Sher (yellow one) but it's underneath the yellow grip.

I really like them as they are very glove friendly, make it more easier and comfortable to grip the bat. More importantly they are quite decent when it comes to thickness. The chevron on Newbery is good but not as good as Xtrax because I don't feel very good using a chevron when comparing to Xtrax.

Was in rush so bare with me but I hope you got my point.

Seeing as I'm fairly new, and I didn't want to start my own topic just for pics of my bat, I thought I'd post these here. Was going to photograph all my kit but couldn't be bothered in the end, so have some bats.

Bat 1 - Gray-Nicolls XXX Bully. Custom made as the XXX line is exclusive to Meuleman's cricket shop in Perth. They don't make the Bully anymore, so quite happy to have bought one of the last ones about 18 months ago. An impulse buy; I just wanted some new inners but I picked up this bat and fell in love with the pick up and feel, so I bought it. Grade 2, seven grains. Not top of the range, but given I bat down the order it does the job. Weight 2 11.

Bat 2 - Puma Calibre 5000. Took the stickers off and gave it a rough sand, plan to clean it up a bit. Not the best looking bat, has a few butterfly stains and I honestly think it might be a mass produced effort stickered as a Puma, even though it was bought it in a store; parents got it for me for a birthday so I don't know where they bought it. Has a good middle though. Weight 2 10, but feels heavier than the Bully strangely.

Ah, I remember now. If I'd realised you were a forumite I would have had a nerdy conversation with you about it!
