if i do it would be P1's as £60 doesn't seem as bigger reach as the P1 pads above other top line products

because, correct me if im wrong, cricket is not a fashion show, so having a quality pair of gloves that look weird isnt a problem

Cricket may not be a fashion show, and I have to say I am a huge fan of the strippers, yet the pads are horrid, as are the gloves. If you walked out wearing the whole lot, combined with like a new Albion lid or something, the "space-age" insults would be hilarious, and you can't honestly say that sledging doesn't affect you at all, it will start to, especially after spending in excess of £100 on pads and gloves, which I think is needless for most anyway.

couldnt agree more arthur. im a big fan of the strippers, but wearing oven mits and those horrible looking pads cannot be worth over £100 however many excuses aero can think of to persuade u to buy them! if your gonna spend that much i would get a top of the range set of traditional soft goods, such as newbery, gm, gn etc.

just my point of view...
