In back tomorrow, the doctor said as long as I don't get another ball to the end of the finger it should be okay. As I've done it once in 7 years I'm going to say it won't happen twice in a season!

Just need to hope someone is sympathetic enough to help tape me together before we start now!

Turns out they're both playing for Hampshire tomorrow which is good!

We've had a few this year from Gloucestershire and Somerset- Ed Young, Jack Leach, Arul Suppiah, Gemaal Hussain, Chris Jones, Liam Dawson, Chris Wood, Richard Coughtrie, Will Gidman of the top of my head, and I'm sure we'll come up against a few more!

I would have thought the Hampshire players would have played in the southern electric premier league.  We've had carbs play before at havant.  And woody, daws and Benny Howell have all scored big runs for hants acad against us along with Vince

a club i follow on twitter, had the opposition turn up with only 5 players. for a midweek game. they agreed to play. and put them into bat.
the 5 of them out 196on. 3 players retiring at 50.

the 11 then failed to chase it down, despite them not once in 20 overs, having a leg side fielder!!

for em this season is sweet (no swearing please) or 20 a big fat 6 ball duck today just not in any form at the top of the order may drop down to 4 ish if i play again :/

I would not like to be fielding as part of a five its hard enough when you have 9 or 10. Earlier in the season we played a team that started with 7 and the eighth turned up part way through. They also evened up the numbers when one of our fielders broken a finger trying to take a catch. It dawned on me when we let them bat first that they could score a lot of runs as you only use 2 at a time, so its not such a disadvantage while batting, just fielding. Thankfully we bowled them out for 98.

Have had a terrible season with the bat, just can't do a thing right at the moment.  Luckily my bowling has come on this year otherwise I really would be struggling to keep a spot in the team.  It's very rare that I'm in form with both ball and bat...
