Hi guys,

So I have the Aero p1 inners, and was wandering what people's opionion/could do with some advice on making an alteration.

I have small/weak little fingers and find with the rubber grip on the end of the finger it difficult to get my pinkies fully into my keeping glove.

So what are people's thoughts/advice on removing this from the little finger section of each glove? Will it be relatively straight forward? I don't want to take it off only to ruin my inner.

This might leave me open to being shot down in flames but personally I would have a look at the stitching and then bite the bullett and go for it.

I have cut the webbing from gloves, undone stitching, sewn bits in and ruined bits of kit in the name of experimentation. The designers of the inners probably went through a similar sort of process.

If you do have a go, work slowly with a small sharp craft blade and see how it goes.

Or you could just cut the finger (on the glove) off.

Did you buy the correct size as I'm sure these gloves came in small, med and large in men's model.

Just put some tape, elastic strapping over/around them, simple enough. so you dont have to start taking the gloves to peices and potentially ruining them

I like this idea and I can trial it first.

I did buy the right size as they fit perfectly on my hand and rest of my fingers, just narrow pinkies I guess. Once is also slightly deformed from when it had an argument with a door. /Xfactorsobstory

I ditched my aero P1's in favour of something more traditional.

Sure they give a nice close fit, and protection is also good. But when it comes to whipping your wk glove off to run someone out? Those silicon tabs mean you've got no chance! This annoyed so much that I binned them

Iv got a pair of P1's aswell, and the tabs do prove a problem, but i wear another pair of inners on top for more padding, and so the gloves slip on and off quicker and eaiser

im interested to see how you get on with these. im looking at getting some new inners for the new season and these were definately on my shortlist.

They are very good IMO, padding is very good when you take into account the size of the glove and that its not very bulky

i got these for Christmas after suffering with a hot spot on my right hand where i usually take the ball...

since using these for 3 weeks it hasn't hurt or come back at all

seem to do the trick for me

They are brilliant gloves, the silicon tabs over the finger tips are slightly chunky and not molded well to a finger shape.

I may trial and error a few options and will report back!

I had no trouble getting my gloves off with these inners but putting my hand back in the glove took a while!

I read in an article that these Inner gloves are made specifically for Aero WK gloves.

An update on this, I carefully undid the stitching and removed the rubber grip. No damage to the glove and much comfier putting them into the gloves.

let us know how you get on first time using them. see if there is any difference in the feel or the protection
