wow, thats actually one of the most "different" ideas I've heard in a while, though of course it depends whether the offers are close to market value, or near to a giveaway

I think this is a great offer,

Out of curiosity what would be the ballpark figure for a G1 bat that is being part exchanged?

Good Luck Kieron
We ran a similar kind of scheme few years back and it was quite difficult to make a decision on someone's bat what it is worth

Thanks guys. I'm finding it quite easy Asad. I make an offer and people can just say yes or no. It's not a major issue for me.

It's like part exchanging your car. It all depends on the value of the car you are buying and the condition of the car you are trading in. This is no different. It has other advantages as well. You can trade in your old car (bat) that is broken and walk away with a now new one without the hassle of repairing it, selling it private etc etc.

I will offer what I think is fair but the customer always has the right to walk away. It's no drama.

As a matter of interest what will you do with the bats you take in? Will we be seeing a Bulldog cricket account on eBay? You might become a 'favourite seller' of mine if you do!!  :D

Again depends on what it is. Could be resold, refurbed and resold, donated to some clubs or just put in the skip.

If anyone is interested please email.

Thanks

Charlie French did a similar scheme in the past. They offered it to the first 200 takers and gave a flat rate £45 for any bat in any condition - the bats were then refurbed and donated to state schools
