kookaburra stamp on shoulder?

Evening boys.just wondered if anyone can tell me what this stamp means? I cant tell if its a 13 or a ib ( maybe for ian bell, doubt it though). Its got a e on the other shoulder. Bat weighs 2.8

The year is stamped on the shoulder.

On the other, is the geographic market.

So expect the bat is this year's model and it was bought in England.

If you roll the grip down from the top of the handle, there will be a sticker on the twine with the model.

Player issue bats always have the name of the player instead of the model.

Not sure what sample refers to. Surely not bats that have been taken out by reps to showcase the range to retailers?! I assumed these were never sold but you never know.

I'll check our bats which were all handpicked straight out the boxes from India (i cut open the tape on the box in many cases) to see if i can find any that say sample

Hopefully i might of got lucky?! Does look and feel a great bat though have not used it yet.

Whilst samples are usually good looking bats, they have often been handled by dozens of people, and bounced around in the boot of busy cricket reps.

Swings and roundabouts i guess.
