Really personal, but I prefer it to any trigger.
Will think about it and see if I can chat about there next week.
For anyone that would like to some first hand experience on any of Buzz's help, who are a little 'does he know what he's talking about?'

Here we go...

So for anyone that seen my typical tailender batting, I've been really struggling to hit that 'Ian Bell Cover Drive' so i contacted Buzz on here privately for some little more expertise, his kitchen videos gave me the confidence that he does know how to pin point various part of ones technique.

Buzz pointed out (as well as others on here, credit to them too) that not only do I come across my whole stumps and am a candidate for LBWs and my trigger movement was really late. But one thing i didnt see people comment on is after my trigger movement, I actually close my stance off restricting my shots and any further movement towards the ball.

So i tried a few of his suggestions and i haven't hit a drive sweeter! With some more practice I think i might have a new favourite shot.

Thank you all forumites that have helped!

Thanks for sharing these videos @Buzz

Some really good points made and certainly things I'll be aware of when I next bat.

For you leftie batters out there - enjoy some of Steven Davies in the preseason nets...

I have not seen Steven Davies bat before, he does look good I assume an opener?
What I did find interesting that he seem to be using two trigger movements.
In the first net to the quicks? back and across and in the second net possibly the spin net a forward press.

Is this something that everyone does and I have just not notice before???

Michael Clarke's first thought to spin was to come down, if it was short he could come back and cut it away if it was a good length he would play it in his slot, as far as i remember

A lot of players who have a big back and across trigger to the quicks change it for spin I think, Alec Stewart Ian Bell etc. less need/more lbw risk against spinners maybe.

Great reminder of what I was doing wrong at end of season 2014. Caught numerous times off leading edge. Now I just play  everything through a wide V until the pitches firm up ( in hilly sheffield sometimes they stay soft and low all season)

Also if you are smart enough to find @Buzz 's twitter the link is on there. this was the only one that worked for me!
