SS Super Test Gloves
« on: February 08, 2013, 06:10:39 PM »

I have always wanted a pair of these gloves and saw a new 2013 pair going cheap on ebay,. Thought I would take a punt on them.

They arrived today and have been very impressed with them, even though as I was a little sceptical over purchasing an Indian brand. Only slight concern with them is they are a touch on the small size. Is this the norm for Indian softs?

I am looking forward to using them, as they are my first sausage style glove, in a few weeks at nets and will give you the low down.

They will be Indian men's which are slightly smaller than standard uk men's I think. Very common with the size, nice gloves mate top softs from SS as usual

Had a pair of them, they are great but just not good enough for me as they were stiff.

Good luck with them; SS makes superb gloves.

The SS matrix gloves I bought were shocking.
Within 3 matches the palms had started peeling and I dont use octopus grips.
Perhaps I must have bought a duff pair?

The problem I find is the different vendors local and big who pump out the gear.

You have to know who to trust and who not too I use various people but to be fair the shops on here tend to use the authorised distributor who only sells top class genuine products

Lets not forget bar branding ss make some of your favourite big brands gear in the same place same as sg.

The size difference plus me using inner gloves means they a little on the tight size. Hopefully they will stretch when used :)

I have never seen gloves that are so curved before. I am looking forward to the experiment :)

Just a little update on these beauties.

Had a couple of net sessions with them and I'm highly impressed. I think they look the part and they are extremely comfortable already, even with little wearing in. Furthermore, the palms are so soft and grip really well. My only question mark when purchasing these gloves was the slightly smaller 'Indian mens' size but the fit and feel is top quality. If anything, I like the snug fitting against my GM's, which have the largest thumb compartment ever.  ???

Overall, these gloves have beaten my expectations and certainly opened my eyes to the Indian brands on offer.
