Millichamp and Hall 2013 gear
« on: February 10, 2013, 09:28:22 PM »

Well ive just gone on the M&H website and the new gear is on there.

Ive got to say, im not as much of a fan of the white compared to the brown leather.

But I do prefer the black and white bags.

Any other views.

I was very much underwhelmed with their new range after seeing their stand at the Lord's show, and that's why we haven't got any of their new kit in yet.  I much preferred the tan leather softs, especially on the wicket keeping gloves.  Interestingly, myself and a couple of other retailers have twisted their arm about these old keeping gloves, and they're getting another shipment of them in in time for the season, so they haven't actually been discontinued now after all!  :) Will be interesting to see if the same thing happens with the Distinction batting gloves...

The tan leather bags are carrying over, though, despite the new black bags being added.

I like the idea of a lighter Master bat, and the junior Amplus is, comfortably, the largest kids' bat I've ever seen, but the new range lacks imagination and innovation, and the tan leather was their USP, that lots of people loved, so if it ain't broke, why fix it?!

I do like the spinning gloves, so hats off to you tom.

Paul, I fully agree about the wicket keeping gloves. That was the first thing I looked at and well was quite disappointed.

Bring back the TAN!!

The canvas style bags look much better.

T1 pads aren't my cup of tea, but everything else looks lovely as usual from M&H.

Has anyone had a feel of those aluminium gloves? - I'm more than a little bit worried it could be a marketing gimmick.....

Could not agree more they are hideous!!! I think the all white this year on the other softs is really good. I am going to put my head on the chopping block and say I prefer it to the tan.

£120 for those pads? I remember finding a link to them a while ago from a small company selling the exact same pads for about £35. God help anyone that buys those.

the T1 bag is very similar to one i designed last year. Hopefully am having it made soon if the manufacturers stop messing around. alot more than mine will be charged out at!

website looks OK. pads are horrible. The history section made me chuckle a little. Factually correct or over exaggerated?

Maybe a bit of artistic license was added to the history.

Look forward to seeing the finished bag then john!

The T1 pads look awful. Offensive almost.

Rest of the range looks good, but very over priced
