Cindy (see my username), some jokers on the boundary started calling it me in a junior game because I couldn't throw the ball back in from the boundary and it stuck.

I have a few
Deeb, because my girlfriend is ceeb,her dads geeb, then i joined the club and being called Dom meant im now deeb
also Big Dom and Tail, which I'll leave to your own imagination and finally D-Ball

At one cricket club, I was "Sid / Sidney" after Sid Waddell the darts comentator on the basis we were both Geordies and my surname is quite close to Waddell

My rugby nickname was straightarm after a rather "robust" tackle on an opponent 10 minutes into my debut for the club

We alos had a guy whose nickname was "Coookie" as his surname is Cook; he son is known as "Biscuit"
