i dread to think what it would be like to face something of that pace!  I've faced a bowler clocked at 80mph previous and that was bad enough, would like to face 1 ball outside off stump just to see what reaction time was like!

It just hems into you how quick bowlers actually  bowl and what we consider quite quick would be easy for pro's.

Makes you really take on noard what a big step up it is. I know a guy who plays for Warwickshire. He used to play for our club and was considered a genuine all rounder - he has a 1st XI hundred to his name, and our 1st XI league is a bloody good standard! Anyway, he always bats 10 or jack now and says the bowling is too quick for him. Mind you, he's pushing mid 80's himself!

i faced 79mph on a bowling machine and went for a slog at top edged it for 6, it was in the slot! and had been in the same place for 5/6 balls

i faced 130kph. i just worked it thru the slips, or straight intot heir hands i cant quite remember

I have faced 160 before. Dont even bother though!! it is so quick there really is no point in bothering!

Hit one out of 15 balls, the shot was a block and FLEW to cover,

Can face 130 KPH and hit it

So nozza you  can face 80 odd miles per hour comfortably? if you can that's outstanding. Seriously.seeing as some pro's can have trouble with that pace. That was the pace of McGrath and Pollock  in their later days reckon you could face them.

I rekon he can probably face 75mph comfortably in the nets...
He doesnt have 10,000 people on his back if he plays and misses
The pitch isnt crumbling on the last day
He doesnt need to pierce the field

geez any relatively smart person could. just be 3/4 of the way to hitting the ball just before it bowls.
