Are Laminated bats legal ?  I read that the cricket bat are supposed to be made of single piece of wood to be legal.

Laminated bats are being banned by ICC, however, it depends what level you are playing, i play at least level so am fine with LAMS.

Quick update on my both bb bats, after knocking them well and few net sessions me and my friend played with them in a match last Sunday. These bats performed really well, we hit some huge sixes, really impressed with these ones and are my favorite bats now.

So if I turn up to a normal Saturday slog, and the dude (or dudette) has one of these things.... Can't he be asked/told not to use it??? (Assume there are league umpires and the league is affiliated to the ECB etc)

Why just the perms?? Surely anyone with league umpires should be able too? I can understand if teams don't have umpires it's harder  it luckily I've not had those types of games (Saturdays) for years

its not a grade b bat its just illegal full stop should not be used in any game that falls under the ECB rules.

but no body is going to pull u up for a tk face lam as the joins are impossible to see unless u pick up and inspect the bat

He can, but you need to have match officials who are aware of the rules to make this work.

You are right, it is impossible to notice the joints unless you inspect them carefully.
