McCullum is injured for the first Test. Williamson will look great getting to 27 then give it away.
Watling is flaky at best.

But then you never know...

Agree about Williamson, he has the technique and temperament suited to test cricket and will be a future test captain, the others while brilliant on occasions they get shown up against quality opposition as Philander and Styne showed. Still happy to be proved wrong.

Where did you here McCullum is injured?

The Kiwi's bowling attack has also really struggled to cope with the absence of Daniel Vettori (who has the added benefit of being a more than useful bat). Does anyone know anything about Bruce Martin, who seems set to play as the spinner ahead of Jeetan Patel?

Bruce Martin has been around for a fair while, he is an attacking left armer and that's about all I know, might play the short stuff a touch better than Jeetan

Ha! Watching Jeetan against Steyn in the last series was just brilliant. Reminded me of some village circket I've been involved in.
