Its not the size of the stickers I dont like, people like GN, Slaz and Kookaburra as you mentioned have large stickers, but they all look better designed, classier and less brash. The SS just look a bir tacky really. Which is a shame as they are good quality bats.

Havent really looked at the prices, as I just think the brands on here offer more for your money, so probably wont get another SS

SS bats are quality. I have not had a single dud bat from SS. However, I am disappointed to see their pricing this year.

I would rather spend £300/£350 on a top end - custom made Salix or GN or a Puma. Also it is easier to shift Salix, Puma and GN bats and these retain muchore of their original value than SS.

However, the bigger problem with SS is that all their models have similar/very similar profiles, so not much options on middle position etc.

They only confuse buyers with having 10 different models with same profile but different grades of willow..

Yeah the range seems a bit confusing. A lot of options and not too much explanation of the difference between them...

I currrently own two SS bats and I agree they all seem to have really nice grains. However, I think in the last four years I have noticed that the best value for the money is their Limited Edition bat. The profile of SS bats almost looks all the same. The other bat that they made for a few years and now do not  is the SS gold editions if you can find one of those at decent price we had four on my team and everyone of them was absoloutly fantastic. These bats definitly have been some of my favorites. I just feel that I need to buy diffrent types of bats and now I am all into custom bats.

I noticed that the prices in U.K are unblievbale on those bats. you can purchase those here in the U.S for a whole lot less.  Is there a reason why? or is it just due to the availability.

US market either hasn't caught up yet, or TON in the UK is selling with a premium on top.

I must say the high end bats are rather expensive. The Power Blaster and Power Play are very good value though, lovely straight even grains, little/no blemishes and both bats are under £140

Agree with that mate there some good lower end models around that look no different to the top models mate.

In your opinion is there much in the mallet tests either??

Haven't done too much tapping up with the TON bats as we only got the majority of them today. The Gladiators are something special, but then again, they should be for the price.

We have a particular Power Play that I made a topic about that picks up and taps up very nicely, can't ask for much more for £120 really.

I got a Heritage from Asad last year and for a low end its stood up massively well. Looked better than some grade 1's or player editions too ;)

Yeah i used a special edition bat which turned out better then my matrix and platinum bat. So some of those lower range bats maybe a steal.
