What is the difference between this and a raffle run at a club?

Its down to value if the prize and the number of people that are available to buy tickets. Can't remember the exact details - one of our club members works for the gambling commission and did explain it to me once.

Is this why such raffles are banned on here?

Raffles are not allowed in here due to the intricacies of meeting the rules and of polihcing how such raffles work by the host!

Had a quick glance at that...
Seems to me that this would fall under a 'small' lottery as only 50 possible entrants with a prize valued at around £1000.....

Comp is now closed, and the money is being donated to a charity, what a great gesture.

Andy is a top bloke, as are many people on this forum, and it ace the amount he does for charity.

The big question is would you sell a Hades if you win, or would you just keep them all and have amazing bats for the next few summers?
