Review: Custom Made Newbery Thruxton SPS
« on: March 01, 2013, 06:45:55 AM »

What I asked for: A thruxton SPS. i wanted a real performer, didnt care about looks. wanted 2.9-2.10 with semi oval handle. Asad basically got it spot it on. This looks and taps up like a real beauty. this bat was for my brother, who has been using a kraktoa (also from Asad) for the last few seasons. i've previously bought a very special thruxton sps from asad that we tried to get copied.

Asads customer service was excellent as usual. ive been buying bats from him for years now and they have all been fantastic. i am sure this one will be too. his turnaround time was excellent as well and kept me in the loop.

will let the pics do the rest.

Wow! Absolutely terrific bat. I remember seeing your Thruxton SPS and was blown away by its balance. If this is like that then I'm sure it is a cracking stick!

You two do have remarkable camera skills ;)

Looks a blinder.

May we ask what you paid for it? Would be interested to know what they go for

Lovely looking bat this. Once again Asad comes up trumps

Asad really is getting his hands on some quality sticks at the moment, that thing looks a belter, I love the heartwood as well, very nice!
