England vs New Zealand Tests
« on: March 05, 2013, 09:11:52 PM »

No Swanny due to elbow flaring up, Monty playing instead. Compton opening and Root in at 6 again.
Broad gets a place in the side ahead of Onions, but that may be to try and strengthen the tail, 9,10 & 11 of Finn, Jimmy & Monty seem weaker than England's usual tail.

New Zealand won the toss and bowling 1st in overcast conditions, could be interesting.

What do we all think then?

I would have played woakes and used Root as the spinner.
Monty is quality though

Possibly not the worst call that Buzz; though I suspect that Team England thinking is far too rigid to consider it

very worried about Swann, it appears he's not really recovered from this elbow operation. Could it threaten his career??
