I think Jason at CSO mentioned that he was getting one, don't know if he actually ended up getting one or not and if he did then he might have used it too...

Nothing after an actual net or a period of use yet then.

in the nicest possible way there are very few guys on this forum that use a bat at that weight let alone a slight looking woman. looks like a marketing ploy to me!

The Carbine we have is one of the nicest looking and best finished cricket bats I have ever seen. I haven't used an Affinity bat, but I am pretty sure they will be right up there in terms of performance. Marcus is a very exacting and meticulous chap, and he's taking his time with these - especially in the pressing stage - so I don't think it will be long before word starts to spread about their quality...

The pick up on the bats are great feel a lot lighter than the bats are .I have used mine three times in the nets and the performance is the best I have used for a long time I have used saf Salix warsop and larver and wood and I can honestly say they are up their with all the big boys and I think we will see more and more affinity cricket bats begin used this season

Really good to hear - and I agree, I expect more and more to be used, but anyone who's interested needs to be pretty quick as he's only making 50 of each bat this year!

As M lives reasonably close by, I may be getting a little loan of a Spectre for nets at the weekend....so I would certainly be able to comment what it feels like against real bowling and cricket balls! Only 15 minutes worth but hoping that will give me an initial idea of how these do perform!  ;)

I am sure 15 minuets is all you need the bats are a true thing off beauty and the sound off the blade is really something special
