Not sure we've done this before for helmets specifically. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I know 1 thread touched on a few helmet weights but why not collect them all?. I thought it would be good to get a list of helmet weights together. While it's not the be all and end all of protection (as Tom will point out I'm sure!), it is nevertheless an indicator of comfort factor.

I will rank them in weight order as we go. Mine is:-

Ayrtek Premier (Fibreglass) with Ti Grill - 721g (not certain this is 100% as it took an effort to keep them on the scales)

Interesting. Tried my Ayrtek Elite (Ti grille) on two sets of scales and got 449g and 452g

The Albion Club Mark II lid with Ayrtek Ti grille is about the same weight as 2011 masuri lid with Ti Grille

That is actually suprising.The Blue Tint weighing that much, I always had it in my head it would weight the same as an elite.

why is ayrtek raw so much heavier than the elite...actually why is it even heavier than premier...i am sure my raw feel significantly lighter the premier (both with ti)...

black ti migh be adding weight too...

Found another thread where Tom weighed his Ayrtek Elite Ti at 602g. Colesy do your bats weigh 2oz ?

I've never weighed my "helmet" I might have a little trouble reaching the scales  :(
